. . . . last weekend was a blast! I actually found time to scrap and I even created a layout! I had so much fun meeting new friends and blog hopping. It was a long overdue creative weekend and I can’t wait to get downstairs to my studio and do it again!
Here is a layout I did for the Big Picture’s Creative Crop Challenge #2 where you had to use 10 techniques and 10 different products.
The background I created from a piece of cardstock using stamps, Glitter Mod Podge, tissue paper, Glimmer Mist, Paint and white wash to soften the look. I also used some swirls and chipboard flourishes with some handmade flowers I made. The chipboard letters are from K & Company.
Here are a few close-ups:
Love these flourishes and the three little pearls above the folded ribbon.
I added some pearls in white to the center of my flower and a few pink rhinestones o the chipboard flourish too.
Here is a close-up of the background. I’ll be doing this technique again soon. It was so much fun and surprisingly easy to do.
Thanks so much!
Michele
